About Me

I collect stories. I have believed, since I was little, that my name "Paige" was a foreshadowing of my dream career. As a kid, I'd welcome my parents into "Paige's Bookstore," a corner of my bedroom where they could "shop" for stories I wrote.

In 8th grade, I earned my first byline in Horse Around New Mexico, a local magazine. After a short-lived personal blog, I started interning for RockN W Report, an online western fashion magazine, during high school.

In college, I chased every opportunity that tied back to storytelling. I volunteered as the Media Director for the WT Ranch Horse Team, worked as the Communications Assistant for the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum and anywhere else I could blend writing, media, and the western world.

I picked up a camera because someone once told me that being able to take photos made you more valuable to magazines. They were right.

Since then, I've worn many hats. Public relations coordinator. Copywriter. Author. Photographer. Videographer. Social media manager. I've had the privilege of working with top brands like Resistol. My work has appeared in Western HorsemanCOWGIRL MagazineThe Team Roping Journal, The American Quarter Horse Journal, Young Rider Magazine and more.

Today, I'm still chasing bylines and capturing stories from every angle through words, images and content creation, and sharing that passion with others through workshops.

Why Western?

I got my first horse when I was ten years old, and I can't remember a day since that I haven't been horseback. When I'm not behind the camera or a computer, I show horses through the National Reined Cow Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association Versatility Ranch Horse.

During my undergrad, I showed for the WT Ranch Horse Team, and now, while pursuing my master's, I serve as the assistant coach of the WT Rodeo Team.

Where Am I Based?

Have laptop and camera, will travel (Let's bring back backpack journalism).

I live in Canyon, Texas—about 20 miles from I-40 and 25 miles from the airport—ready to go anywhere to capture a story.
